What is included?
Version 1.0.0 includes 14 postcard designs (two of them for the holidays and the New Year), 15 decorations, three on-device design suggestions chosen by looking at your photo (Try 3 Designs), Message Ideas for common occasions, handwritten signatures, a card date filled in from the day the photo was taken, one-line notes, movable text, up to two photos, PNG export and sharing, and 4-second video sharing. Browsing suggestions does not save a new postcard. It is a one-time paid download with no subscription or in-app purchase. There is no video recording or physical postcard delivery.
How do I make a postcard?
Choose Make Postcard on the home screen. Pick a design, add your words, and open Photo to choose a picture or use Camera. Photo-free designs also work with a short message alone. Tap Save to save the postcard and preview the result, then Share or Save Image. No postcard is added to your library before you explicitly tap Save.
How do I move photos, text, and decorations?
Select the item you want to edit. Place Frame moves a photo’s frame; Crop Photo changes the picture inside the frame. Use the corresponding drag, size, and rotation controls. Each of the two photos can be adjusted independently. Keep important details away from the edges of the postcard.
How do One-line Notes work?
Write a note from the home screen. Blank or whitespace-only notes are not saved. Use the note’s menu to edit, delete, or choose Make Postcard. Making a postcard does not remove the original note. To remove an existing note, use Delete rather than clearing all its text.
Camera or saving is not working
On iPhone, open iOS Settings → Apps → Maeum Post and check the relevant Camera or Photos permission: camera permission is only needed to take a new photo (the system photo picker works without it), and saving a finished image to Photos needs the photo-add permission. On Android, the app requests no permissions at all: taking a photo opens the system camera app, and saving to the gallery needs no permission. Also check that your device has free storage.
Where are my postcards saved?
Drafts, notes, imported photos, and handwritten signatures are stored on your device. A finished postcard exports as a 1600 × 2000 PNG, and Share as Video creates a 4-second 1080 × 1350 MP4. After saving to Photos (iPhone) or the gallery app (Android), look in recently saved items. When sharing, the destination app may compress the image; use a file-based sharing option if you need to preserve the original PNG.
There is no Maeum Post cloud sync. Backups may include app data: iOS or iCloud settings on iPhone, or Google account backup settings on Android. We cannot recover deleted work from a server. Export important postcards before deleting the app. Removing an in-app record does not remove copies in Photos, the gallery app, or other apps.
I bought the app — do I need to buy it again?
There is no in-app unlock or Restore Purchases button. For redownloads, use the Apple Account that purchased the app and check your App Store purchase history on iPhone, or the Google account that purchased the app and your Google Play purchase history on Android. Availability depends on the store account and its rules. Apple or Google handles billing and refund requests; support cannot access your payment details.
Report a problem
Email support@hodgepodge.studio with your device model, OS version, app version, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot with private information removed can help. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step, because local drafts may be lost.
