These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of all mobile apps, web services, and digital products provided by Hodgepodge Studio ("we", "us"). By accessing or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms.
You must be of legal age in your country to enter into this agreement, or have your parent or legal guardian's consent. Some apps have minimum age requirements shown on their store listing.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for their intended purposes. You agree not to:
Most of our apps use anonymous accounts created automatically on your device. Some apps may offer optional registration (email, social login). You are responsible for safeguarding any credentials and for activity under your account.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, after notice where reasonably possible.
You retain ownership of content you create or submit (nicknames, profile data, app-specific entries). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store it solely for operating and improving the service.
We may remove or filter content that violates these Terms or is offensive, illegal, or infringing.
In-app purchases ("IAP") and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, billing, and recurring renewals are governed by the platform.
Refunds: Requests are handled under the platform's refund policy (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google: in your Play Store order history). We can also help — email us at support@hodgepodge.studio.
Statutory rights: Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws (e.g., the EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Rights Act, US state law). Where local law gives you a stronger right than this section, your local law controls.
Some apps show third-party ads (e.g., Google AdMob), including rewarded video ads that grant in-app rewards. Ad providers may collect identifiers and usage signals as described in their own privacy policies.
On iOS, personalized ads require your consent through the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you'll see non-personalized ads instead. See our Privacy Policy for details.
All app content, designs, code, trademarks, and assets are owned by Hodgepodge Studio or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The license granted to you in Section 2 does not transfer any ownership rights.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any app or feature at any time. For material changes that significantly affect paying users (such as discontinuing an app with active subscriptions), we will provide reasonable advance notice (typically 30 days) through the app, our website, or email where available.
You may stop using our apps at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, liability, governing law) will survive.
"As is": Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
Liability cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our apps will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Consumer protection: Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. To the extent permitted by law, the Seoul Central District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where required by mandatory local law, and the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence will apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
