1. Scope and operator
Hodgepodge Studio operates MOA, a color logic puzzle for iPhone, iPad and Android. This policy applies to these installed apps, not the studio’s other games. MOA has no studio account, public leaderboard, chat or subscription. It offers an optional one-time ad-free purchase and optional Apple Game Center achievements on iOS.
2. Progress and settings on your device
Puzzle states, completed stages, stars, move history, hint usage and settings are stored in the app on your device. Hints are calculated on the device. We do not upload your full puzzle save to a studio server or use a separate gameplay analytics service. The optional Game Center achievements described below are separate from the local save. Progress is not synchronized between devices. Deleting the app or its data can permanently remove it. Apple or computer backups may include iOS app data depending on your settings; the Android app disables Android backup. Hodgepodge Studio does not operate those backups or hold a recovery copy.
3. Advertising and Google services
MOA integrates Google AdMob for rewarded hints and interstitial ads. Each new puzzle attempt includes one free hint; extra hints may use rewarded ads. Undo is free and unlimited. Advertising can be unavailable offline. Test builds may show Google’s official test ads rather than live inventory.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK can transmit an IP address and infer approximate location; app- or device-related identifiers; ad views and interactions; and crash, performance and other diagnostic information. Google processes these for advertising delivery and measurement, analytics, SDK operation, security and fraud prevention under its policies. The game does not request precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
Our ad requests are marked non-personalized. This does not mean no data is processed: contextual selection, frequency limits and aggregate reporting can still use technical information. The current iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access IDFA. The Android app removes the advertising ID permission. Other app- or device-bounded identifiers may still be processed. We do not send saved puzzle progress or support correspondence as advertising targeting data.
4. Your choices and retention
You can play core puzzles offline and decline an extra rewarded hint. You can manage app data, device permissions and available advertising privacy controls in system settings. If a legally required advertising choice is presented, your selection governs the corresponding advertising processing. For advertising data and retention, see Google’s policies and privacy controls. We do not hold a game-account database, so we cannot retrieve or delete a server copy of your progress. A request to Hodgepodge Studio does not automatically erase data independently held by Google or by your backup provider.
5. Support, website and international processing
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations, not for ad targeting. Our email provider processes delivery and storage; correspondence is retained only as needed for those purposes and you may request deletion. Please remove unnecessary personal information from attachments.
These policy and support pages add no advertising scripts, analytics or tracking cookies. Firebase Hosting can process IP addresses and technical request data to deliver and protect this website. Google, Apple, hosting and email providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their safeguards and retention practices are described in their own policies. Hodgepodge Studio does not sell puzzle progress or operate a personal-data marketplace.
6. Audience, rights and changes
MOA is a general puzzle game intended for teenagers and adults, not a service directed specifically to children under 13. A store content rating describes the puzzle’s content; it does not establish that the advertising service is designed for children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through support.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal information we control, and contact your local data protection authority. You may also contact Google for data it independently controls. We update this page and its date before introducing material changes to accounts, cloud storage, advertising or other data processing.
Purchases and restoration
Apple App Store or Google Play processes the optional one-time ad-free purchase. We do not receive your payment-card details or operate a billing server. The app uses store-verified transaction information to grant, restore and maintain access, including signed purchase evidence stored on the device on Android. The store may retain purchase history under its own policies. Buying removes interstitial ads and allows hints without ads; the app disables its advertising and consent initialization once verified ownership is known. Restore purchases in Settings using the same store account and platform. Purchases and Game Center achievements do not transfer or restore your local puzzle save. A refund or revocation may remove the entitlement when the store next confirms it.
Optional Apple Game Center achievements
On iOS, if you are signed in to Game Center, the app reports achievement progress derived from your completed puzzles, star totals and daily-puzzle completions to Apple. Apple associates achievements with your Game Center account. The app uses the player identifier transiently to reject stale account callbacks; Hodgepodge Studio does not store it on a server or use it for advertising. We do not send your board, full save, move history or support messages to Game Center. You can play without signing in, and Game Center does not synchronize your puzzle progress. Manage Game Center sign-in and visibility in Apple settings. Apple processes this service under its Game Center privacy notice.
