1. About this policy
Hodgepodge Studio operates Feeltory, an iPhone, iPad, and Android app for private journaling and everyday wellbeing. This policy applies to Feeltory. It does not describe the studio’s games or their online services.
2. What stays on your device
Diary entries, selected emotions, mood check-ins, gratitude notes, reframing sessions, weekly reviews, exercise history, personal routines, guide progress and notes, nickname, reminders, and app preferences are stored in the app on your device. Emotion suggestions, statistics, and personal insights are generated on the device. Feeltory has no account or sign-in and uses no separate advertising, tracking, or app-usage analytics service. Google Play Billing's technical diagnostics are explained below. We do not receive your records on our servers or send them to an external AI service.
3. Backup, export, import, and deletion
Feeltory does not provide operator cloud sync. On iPhone and iPad, device settings may include app data in an Apple or computer backup. The Android app opts out of Android backup. Export creates a readable JSON file in a location you choose; that location may be a cloud service governed by its own policy. Import reads the file you choose, merges compatible records, and keeps the existing device record when an identifier conflicts. You can delete records in Settings. Deleting records in the app does not delete exported files or device backups, and deleting the app may permanently remove records that you have not exported.
4. App lock, reminders, and support links
App lock asks the operating system to authenticate you with the device passcode or biometrics. Feeltory receives only the success or failure result, not biometric data. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. If you choose a support resource, phone number, email link, store license, or website, the selected app or service handles that connection under its own policy.
5. Purchases and Android billing diagnostics
Feeltory Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple or Google processes payment, purchase restoration, and refunds under its own terms. On Android, Feeltory and Google Play exchange the product identifier, purchase token, and purchase status to process purchases, check entitlement, and acknowledge completed purchases. Feeltory does not receive your card or bank details. Store access is required to buy or restore Plus. The Android app also automatically sends Google Play Billing technical diagnostics to Google for billing reliability and troubleshooting. These can include billing response and error codes and technical app, device, and network information. Billing is initialized when the app starts, including for free users; these diagnostics do not require a Plus purchase. These SDK communications use HTTPS. Personal writing and mood records are not included in purchase requests or billing diagnostics. Google handles its billing information and diagnostics under its own privacy policy, which explains its retention practices and privacy controls: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Deleting local Feeltory records does not delete Google's transaction records or SDK diagnostics.
6. Support messages and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and resolve issues, not for advertising. Our email provider processes the correspondence to deliver and store it. We retain it only as needed for support and applicable obligations; you can request deletion. These policy pages contain no analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies added by us. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the website.
7. Your choices, wellbeing scope, and changes
You can read, export, import, and delete records without Plus; change notification and device permissions; choose whether to share an export; and contact us about support correspondence. We do not sell personal information. Feeltory supports personal reflection and everyday wellbeing. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor a medical or mental health condition and is not an emergency service. We will update this page before introducing any material new data processing and will change the date above.
